We would like to welcome all our Members and their guests to come down to the Clubhouse for our annual Christmas Eve Carol Concert on from 7pm Tuesday 24 December 2024. This is a lovely Festive Evening where the Southport Old Links Choir will be playing all your favourite Christmas Carols for you to sing, with a helping of Mince Pies and no doubt a drink or two from the Bar. We look forward to seeing those who can make it down the Club on the night to see in Christmas.

Start off your Christmas Day by joining our Gentlemen's and Ladies' Captains here at the Club where they will be running the bar from 12pm to 2pm. There will be an extra 10% discount on most drinks at the Bar, so the more you spend the more you save. Share some Festive cheer and wish other Members, Friends and Family a Merry Christmas here at the Club before your afternoon Xmas lunches and dinners.

There is still a last minute chance to get Tickets for our New Years Eve event for any Members and / or Guests who may still be looking for something to do when seeing in 2025. This is always a great night and this year we have the fantastic Live 4 piece band 'EVER MORE'. Tickets are £50 per person and include a great 3 Course Meal and some fun and games across the night. There are still around 10 tickets free so it is good news for all who want to attend and support and celebrate with us here at Southport Old Links. If you have some friends you would like to invite, please feel free to do so and get them involved with welcoming in 2025 here at Southport Old Links.

In preparation for the Winter Rules starting shortly, we would like to remind members that Winter Mats are required this year. They are available to purchase from the Club now, so make sure you pick yours up soon :) Mats cost £8.50 Greens Notice: Mats will be compulsory for everyone with effect from Monday 11 November 2024, in both social and competition golf. They must be used for both the fairways and first cuts, ONLY. Winter Rules - 2024/2025

Don't forget, one of the best ways to access Information about the Golf Club as simply and regularly as possible is to download the Club V1 Members Hub App, which is essentially our Members log in for our Website but in a downloadable app form for those with smartphones. You can simply search 'ClubV1' in your store directly and it should take you to the download page. Clicking on the Members Hub, link on our SOLGC Club Website website will also allow you to access and view the information from the club in a desktop form as well. You should be able to log in using your How Did I Do, log in credentials or you can create a How Did I Do passport log in, should you not be a playing member or just haven't set up How Did I Do previously. Any issues with this, don't hesitate to ask the office or a willing member who has already gone through the relatively simple process.
