After the last few years sell outs, it’s nearly time for eyes down once again in July…...Our next Club Social is Comedy Bingo! Taking place on Saturday 19 July 2025, doors open from 6.30pm for Bingo to start at 8pm. Tickets are £15 per person which can now be purchased from the Club Bar. You MUST pay on booking to reserve your space and receive your ticket. Please keep hold of your ticket as you will need them to be able to enter on the night. The night will be hosted by Comedian Brendon Riley so get ready for a fun filled night of entertainment as well as there being lots of prizes up for grabs. Relaxed dress code and a whole heap of fun in store for this evening. Don’t miss out!

The Club received delivery recently of 4 x Club Car Tempo Buggies to finally improve our buggy hire fleet. These are being rented and are not owned by the Club, so please if you hire these, do treat them with the utmost respect. The price to hire these has not changed in over 10 years and so has been amended to as follows with a significant none member increase: Members 9 Holes - £12 18 Holes - £20 None Members 9 Holes - £18 18 Holes - £30 When hiring, please make sure you read our Buggy Policies and do sign for their use and your acknowledgment of the policy too. There are also pre start checks that both the staff and hirer should work through before taking out a buggy. We hope that the buggy users appreciate these upgrades. Buggies can be booked via calling the club but also when booking tee times via the tee booking system. There is an upgrade coming too so for competition booking, where services will be available to be added too on these tee sheets, which will be a great addition too once live.

Don't forget, one of the best ways to access Information about the Golf Club as simply and regularly as possible is to download the Club V1 Members Hub App, which is essentially our Members log in for our Website but in a downloadable app form for those with smartphones. You can simply search 'ClubV1' in your store directly and it should take you to the download page. Clicking on the Members Hub, link on our SOLGC Club Website website will also allow you to access and view the information from the club in a desktop form as well. You should be able to log in using your How Did I Do, log in credentials or you can create a How Did I Do passport log in, should you not be a playing member or just haven't set up How Did I Do previously. Any issues with this, don't hesitate to ask the office or a willing member who has already gone through the relatively simple process.
